Questions and answers
What is DrillRN?
DrillRN is an iPhone app for NCLEX-RN practice. You answer exam-style questions across all eight client needs categories, and every question comes with a rationale that explains the right answer and why each wrong option is wrong.
Is DrillRN free?
Yes. Everyone gets 10 practice questions a day with full rationales at no cost. DrillRN Pro removes the daily limit. You can buy Pro as a weekly or monthly subscription or as a Test Pass, and the app shows the current price before you buy.
Do I need an account?
No. DrillRN does not use accounts, so there is no sign-up, no password and no email address to give. You open the app and start practicing.
Where is my progress stored?
On your iPhone. Your answers, scores, daily goal and test date are saved on the device, not on our servers. That also means progress does not move to a new phone automatically, and deleting the app deletes your progress.
How do I restore a purchase on a new phone?
Sign in with the same Apple ID, open DrillRN, go to Settings and tap Restore purchases. Your Pro access comes back. Your practice history does not, because it was stored on the old phone.
How do I cancel a subscription?
Subscriptions are managed by Apple. On your iPhone open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, then DrillRN. Cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date to avoid the next charge. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
Can I get a refund?
Apple handles all payments and refunds for App Store purchases. You can request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. We cannot issue refunds directly because we never see your payment details.
Can DrillRN remind me to practice?
Yes. In Settings, turn on Daily reminder and pick a time. The reminder is scheduled on your phone, so allow notifications for DrillRN in your iPhone settings if it does not arrive.
Is DrillRN on Android?
Not yet. DrillRN is available for iPhone on the App Store.
Is DrillRN affiliated with NCSBN?
No. DrillRN is an independent study tool. NCLEX and NCLEX-RN are registered trademarks of the National Council of State Boards of Nursing, which does not endorse DrillRN.
