Privacy Policy

DrillRN is an NCLEX-RN practice app for iPhone made by Lacewing Technologies LLC ("we" or "us"). This policy covers the DrillRN app and this website. Last updated October 28, 2026.

DrillRN has no accounts. We never ask for your name, email address or phone number, and your practice history stays on your iPhone. We collect limited usage and crash data to keep the app working and improve it. We do not sell your data or show ads.

The questions you answer, your answers and scores, your daily goal, your test date, your reminder time and your other settings are stored on your device. They are not sent to us. Deleting the app or using Reset progress in Settings removes them.

The app uses Google Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics. Analytics records in-app events, such as opening the app, starting a drill, finishing a set or viewing the upgrade screen, together with technical details like device model, iOS version, app version, approximate country and a random identifier for your app installation. Crash reports include technical details about the crash and a short log of the actions taken just before it.

We use this data only to understand how the app is used and to fix problems. It is not used for advertising. Google keeps analytics event data for the retention period we have set, and never longer than 14 months.

Apple processes all payments through the App Store. We never see your card details or your Apple ID. Apple tells the app whether you have an active purchase so it can turn on Pro.

When you complete a purchase, the transaction ID is also sent to Adapty, a subscription analytics service, along with basic device and app information. We use it to measure subscription revenue and renewals. Adapty does not receive your name, email or practice history.

If you turn on daily reminders, they are scheduled on your phone by iOS. We do not run a notification server and do not receive your reminder time.

This website has no accounts, no sign-up forms, no advertising and no analytics or tracking tags. The practice quiz on the home page runs in your browser and does not send your answers anywhere. Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs, such as IP address and browser type, for security and reliability.

We share data only with the service providers named above (Google, Adapty and Apple), and only for the purposes described. We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not share it with data brokers or advertisers. We may disclose information if the law requires it.

DrillRN is made for nursing students and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

You can delete everything stored on your phone at any time with Reset progress in Settings, or by deleting the app. Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data we hold. Email us and we will help. Because we do not collect your name or email address, we usually cannot link analytics records to a specific person, but we will do what we can with the details you give us.
